Accounts Assistant

Location:                                  Billing Aquadrome, Northampton

Responsible to:                        Finance Manager

Main duties:

The Accounts Assistant provides a professional accountancy service for the park and undertakes any duties required by the Finance Manager.  The working hours for this role are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Duties include:

Fixed Assets

  • Maintenance of fixed asset register
  • Posting depreciation

Purchase Ledger

  • Review of monthly payment runs

Stock

  • Maintenance of stock system
  • Liaison with sales / park staff

Reporting

  • Maintenance of daily/weekly summary for management meetings
  • Processing nominal ledger journals, prepayments and accruals
  • Production of month end accounts to trial balance
  • Production of all balance sheet reconciliations

Ad hoc work

  • Assist at year end with auditors enquiries
  • Production of year end files and supporting reconciliations
  • Cover for other department members as required including purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations
  • Undertake any other duties which may reasonably be regarded as within the nature of the duties and responsibilities of the post, such as assistance with acquisitions and updating accounts software

Skills and expertise:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Extensive knowledge of Sage Line 50 and all Microsoft office products, particularly excel
  • Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Administrative Skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Purchase Ledger Clerk (Maternity Cover)

Location:                                    Billing Aquadrome, Northampton

Responsible to:                          Financial Controller

Salary:                                        £15,000 - £18,000

Main duties:

We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to work in the Accounts Office at Billing Aquadrome, Northampton to cover Maternity Leave.

Duties include:

  • Match purchase orders to delivery notes and invoices
  • Input of authorised invoices to sage system with appropriate nominal ledger coding
  • Reconcile supplier invoices to sage system on a monthly basis
  • Deal with supplier and internal enquiries on purchase ledger matters
  • Prepare and post to sage supplier payment runs on a monthly basis
  • Prepare supplier remittance advices
  • Filing documentation

Ad Hoc:

  • Assistance at year end with auditors enquiries and copy invoices for corporation tax computations
  • Cover for other department members as required
  • Administrative support for the Park Manager

Skills and expertise:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of Sage Line 50 and all Microsoft office products, particularly excel
  • Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Administrative Skills

 

Customer Services Advisor

Reporting to the Owner Services Manager you will, develop and maintain relationships with owners, sell gas bottles and electric cards for holiday home owners, identify the specific requirements of owners and work with the site team to deliver these services, ensuring you work within the agreed departmental budget.

Previous experience within the leisure and tourism industry would be a distinct advantage to any applicant. All applicants must be computer literate, have previous experience in a customer-facing or administrative role and be able to take ownership of problems, providing appropriate recommendations.


 

Cleaner

We are currently looking for cleaners to provide a professional cleaning service for the park in either the Complex or our Hire Fleet teams.

Our Hire Fleet team focus primarily on the upkeep of our holiday lodges. You will ensure they meet the high standard our customers expect. You will also inspect the inventories of the lodges and replace any missing items.

Our Complex team are responsible for maintaining the exceptional cleanliness of the Bar/Restaurant area, Children’s Indoor play area and Swimming Pool facilities.  

The working hours for this role are as and when required but will be approximately 12-30 hours per week over 5 or 6 days

The successful candidate needs to have the ability to work flexibly, have good customer service skills, be conscientious and be able to communicate effectively with park management and staff.

Gas Safe Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Gas Safe Engineer to commission and service new and used static holiday homes and lodges, as well commercial buildings.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will provide professional service, maintenance and breakdown cover to the company and its customers.

You will be fully qualified with all Commercial Gas tickets; you will have experience in servicing and maintaining commercial and industrial gas boilers, LPG and warm air heaters.
An IPAF license is desirable but not essential.
