OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
For over a year now, many have followed and witnessed the steady construction and development of an impressive addition to Billing Aquadrome Leisure Park.
Parent company Pure Leisure Group, based near Carnforth in Lancashire and owned by caravan park magnate John Morphet, have invested a staggering £5 million in the form of this modern outstanding complex alone, catapulting Billing to the forefront of leading holiday parks in the south of England.
John Morphet commented "When acquiring Billing, I immediately recognised the enormous potential of the park and was aware of its long standing history as a popular destination. I want to return this beautiful park to its former glory, ultimately aiming to recreate a premier holiday park destination, whilst retaining and featuring all the natural elements of the park. It has such a lot to offer and this addition is the first of three planned phases to constantly improve this already attractive holiday park. We hope it will bring families and visitors lots of enjoyment and happy memories, just as it is intended."
The new extensive leisure facility, housing an aqua park with slides and flumes, bar, lounge, restaurant and indoor soft play area overlooking the principal park lake and marina, will be unveiled to visitors, guests and holiday home owners this evening at 7.00pm. Amore formal grand official opening is planned for just after Easter.
